Xematiasma (ξεμάτιασμα) is the traditional Greek prayer recited to relieve the effects of the evil eye. For generations, the prayer has been passed from one person to another within families, preserved as part of Greek spiritual and cultural tradition. When requested, the prayer is recited privately with the intention of restoring balance and easing the disturbance believed to accompany the evil eye
How the Prayer Is Offered
After submitting a request, the Xematiasma prayer is performed privately on your behalf. The prayer is recited in Greek by someone who carries the tradition and has been entrusted with the words through generational transmission.
You do not need to be physically present. The prayer may be requested for yourself or for another person, including a child, family member, partner, friend, or pet.
Each request is handled individually and with care. Once the prayer has been completed, the request is considered fulfilled.
Offering
In keeping with the spirit of the tradition, a small offering is requested to support the time, care, and attention given to each prayer. The cost for a Xematiasma prayer is $10 per request.
This offering helps preserve the tradition while allowing the prayer to be offered through this platform. There is no subscription or ongoing commitment required.
